Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Receipts: Group Chat Stats ("Receipts", "the app") and this website are operated by SocialVibe LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the information described in this policy.

2. How the app handles your chats

Receipts works on a chat export file that you create yourself with your messaging app's Export Chat feature and then open in Receipts, either from the share sheet or the Files app.

• On your device only. The file is read and analysed on your iPhone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Receipts has no servers that receive chat data.
• Deleted after reading. When you share an export to Receipts, iOS gives the app its own copy. Receipts deletes that copy as soon as it has been read. If you pick a file from the Files app, Receipts reads it and leaves your original file untouched.
• Stats in memory only. The stats and award cards are held in your iPhone's memory while you view them. They are cleared when you close the story or the app. Receipts does not save chats or stats.
• Share cards. When you tap Share, Receipts draws an image of that card and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes. The temporary image is deleted when you close the story.
• Photos. If you choose Save Image, iOS asks for permission to add photos. Receipts uses this only to save the card you chose. It cannot read your photo library.

3. What we don't collect

Through the app we do not collect, store or receive your messages, contact details, names, phone numbers, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage analytics or crash reports. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software, and it makes no network requests except to Apple's App Store for purchases.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

4. Other people in your chat

A chat export contains other people's names and messages. Because Receipts processes the export only on your device and keeps nothing, we never receive that information. Please import only chats you are part of, and share cards with care, since they can show people's names and stats. Our Terms of Use say more about this.

5. Purchases

The All Chats Pass is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your name, payment card or Apple ID details. The app checks on your device, using Apple's StoreKit, whether your Apple ID owns the pass, so that it can unlock it and restore it on your other devices.

6. Information Apple may share with us

If you have chosen in your iPhone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with aggregated, de-identified usage statistics and crash reports through App Store Connect. Apple also provides sales and download reports that do not identify you. We use this only to understand how the app performs and to fix problems. Apple's handling of this information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

7. This website

This website is static. We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and the site loads its fonts and images from our own domain.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which delivers and protects it. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep short-lived security logs. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor is human, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie. We do not use any of this information to identify you. Cloudflare's practices are described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

8. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. Mail sent to support@getreceipts.chat is forwarded to our team's mailbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We keep support emails for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Please don't send us your chat export; we don't need it to help you.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering your request and in running and securing this website.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and US states such as California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to appeal our decision on a request. Because the app collects no personal data, the only information we are likely to hold about you is a support email. To make a request, email support@getreceipts.chat. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Receipts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Security and international transfers

The best protection is not holding data at all, which is how Receipts is built. For support emails and website hosting we rely on reputable providers with appropriate safeguards. We are based in the United States, so any information you send us is processed there. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

12. Changes and contact
